Carnivore Chicken Soup for Healing

Serves 4 to 6 people
Ingredients
8 to 10 skin on chicken thighs
2T beef tallow, bacon grease, or lard
1 stick butter
4 C water
seasonings of choice
Method
Remove skin from the chicken thighs (reserve to make chicken skin chips)
Season chicken with your favorite seasonings, I use Redmond's Real Seasoned Salt
Add Tallow to the bottom of a large stock pot along with 1/2 stick of butter and let it get nice and hot
sear the chicken on all sides
Add 4 - 6 C of water to the pot along with the other 1/2 stick of butte
Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to a simmer
Simmer on low heat for 1 to 1.5 hours
Remove chicken from the hot broth and debone the chicken
Add the chicken back to the pot and serve.
This recipe makes a delicious savory soup that is perfect for cold days or when you are feeling under the weather.
